Vcinity

Situation / Challenge

Vcinity’s technologies allow users to work on data anywhere in the world, in real time, as if it were local – changing the way businesses operate by enabling them to become location independent.

Vcinity wanted to convey this breakthrough more effectively, so they turned to Sage to lead a strategic rebranding effort.

Approach

Our strategy revolved around a series of integrated activities leading to a 3Q18 launch, including website design, company and product re-naming, sales and marketing collateral, media relations, social media management, video production, sponsorship management and event support.

Sage created new corporate messaging and product naming convention, then carried that work into a new logo, brand guidelines, business communications, and infographics. We designed, developed, and created original content for a new website using Mobile First design, along with an animated video that provided a clear, compelling illustration of Vcinity’s capabilities.

Sage established original Vcinity Twitter and LinkedIn profiles and content, and created strong thought-leadership messages and angles for the firm’s key audiences. We then helped Vcinity build stronger relationships with industry influencers, reporters, analysts, partners and customers.

Sage timed this launch to coincide with the 2018 Gartner Symposium, helping Vcinity secure a sponsorship, speaking session and booth. We oversaw all media relations and social media activity during the symposium, facilitating interviews and live tweeting.

Results

Sage secured more than 15 media opportunities for Vcinity, including a byline in Information Management (reaching 75,000 visitors a month) and coverage in ExecutiveBiz and CRN (40,000 and 647,000 visitors a month). Vcinity received nods from leading industry analysts and journalists, who spotlighted Vcinity on social media as a company to watch.
