AMERICAN SYSTEMS Celebrates 35 Year History as Government IT Innovator

April 19, 2010 - Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a government IT solutions provider and one of the top 100 employee-owned companies in the U.S., is marking the 35th anniversary of its founding by inaugurating the company’s new headquarters in Chantilly, VA. Once move-in is completed, the new headquarters will house approximately 280 AMERICAN SYSTEMS employees.

The inauguration of AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ new 65,000 square foot national headquarters comes on the heels of a successful year. AMERICAN SYSTEMS closed out 2009 with $400 million in new business awards — a record for the company in a single year. The company also experienced double-digit revenue growth in 2009, despite one of the most challenging business climates in decades.
