About John Mills
John Mills serves Sage clients as Vice President and Creative Director. He leads creative teams on major marketing campaigns, mentors creative staff members, and helps develop the strategy behind successful creative campaigns. With almost twenty years of experience in advertising, John's strong communication skills and creativity, powered by the understanding of a strategic objective, results in effective marketing campaigns for Sage's clients.

Prior to joining Sage Communications, John was Creative Director at SAIC where he played a key role in branding the Fortune 500 company. This effort, a first for the then 39-year-old company, included the development of the branding guidelines and visual identity system along with both internal and external integrated marketing campaigns.

In previous roles, John has served clients including UK Science & Innovation for the British Embassy, Texaco, San Francisco Giants, Kaman Aerospace, Saab Aerospace, ITT Defense and Electronics, BDM International, Harris Corporation, and Northrop Grumman to name a few. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art with a focus on graphic design and typography from George Mason University and has won numerous creative communications awards.
