D.C.-Area Updates: Lipner Joins LEVICK, Sage Wins AVA Awards, and Folio to Induct 2019 Class of Digital Hall of Fame Honorees
LEVICK added Ian Lipner as Senior Vice President. Lipner joins LEVICK after having founded and led LEWIS’ D.C. office since opening the location in 2004, where he served as Vice President. During his time at the firm, Lipner, states a release, was instrumental in pioneering the firm’s first social media management services, developing and deploying industry-first global measurement methodologies, and launching the agency’s dedicated global research function. He also acted as agency lead for dozens of global communications campaigns, helping teams for many of the agency’s top clients in data management, internet infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
Sage Communications announced that it has won Platinum and Gold AVA Digital Awards for its Vcinity and Premier Solutions Hi, LLC campaigns. AVA is an international competition that recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of digital communication. Each year, the Awards receive thousands of entries for work ranging from digital campaigns and mobile marketing to audio and video production to website development and social media engagement. The Digital Hall of Fame recognizes those who have been thought leaders and innovators in digital media throughout their career. This year’s honorees include Margaret Mannix, VP and Editor-in-Chief, Digital and Content, AARP; and, Clarissa Matthews, Director of Product Management and Planning, The Atlantic.
