Account Executive - Marketing


  • Manage client relationships and programs on assigned accounts
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the client, their products, goals, competitors and customers, becoming the subject matter expert who can lead agency internal team in understanding and translating effective marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and present strategic and tactical plans
  • Build relationship and trust with clients in order to lead the account rather than just take orders
  • Work with agency leadership to drive campaigns and secure client relationships
  • Manage client campaigns and support new business efforts
  • Demonstrate dedication, passion and commitment to work in an agency environment
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Manage and mentor account coordinators


  • 2-3 years of account service experience (tech and corporate experience preferred) and the ability to form trusting, lasting relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Familiarity with digital marketing (CMS, SEO/SEM, AdWords, email marketing, etc.)
  • Google Analytic IQ Certification a plus
  • Strategic thinking and strong understanding of all tactical components of an integrated marketing program
  • Extremely detail oriented and well organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to write marketing plans, proposals, and understanding of how to keep client and agency in a tight loop
  • A natural tendency toward enthusiasm, fresh thinking and creative solutions
  • Ability to be part of a team, work well with others, collaborate and communicate
  • Ability to prepare and present client / new business presentations
  • Highly fluent in all aspects of social media and digital marketing as well as traditional marketing techniques
  • A big plus:  Self starter with strong problem solving skills who wants to move up and assume increasing responsibility
