Susan Milich leads Sage’s government practices, providing integrated marketing and public relations services to federal, state, and local government agencies and the contracting community.
Susan excels in strategic planning and business development in technology markets where she has particular expertise in marketing emerging / disruptive technologies. With over 30 years in the computer industry, she has served in technical, marketing, business development, and executive management roles at PRC Realty Systems; Entre Computer Centers, Inc; Unicom Government; Technology Concepts & Design, Inc. (TCDI); and Logistics Management Institute (LMI). She founded and operated Federal Marketing Associates, Inc. from 1995 to 2015.
Susan has served in numerous leadership positions for government technology associations ACT-IAC and AFFIRM. Her most enjoyable speaking engagements involve case studies for Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, “Entrepreneurship” for George Washington University graduate engineering program, and government marketing for Computer Reseller News and Federal Computer Week. She was Vice Chair of the ACT-IAC Partner Program in 2010.
Susan holds a B.A. degree in History and French Literature from The College of William and Mary in Virginia. Her studies included one year at Université Paul Valéry in Montpelier, France. A champion of Title IX, she was a captain and marksman on college and high-school “Men’s Rifle Teams.” She earned two national titles for sewing, leading to a position on Madison Avenue in fashion publicity.
In her free time, Susan enjoys gardening, and hiking and biking, both near and far away. She is a frequent volunteer in the kitchen at Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness and an active proponent for mental health awareness.
