“Sage’s approach is unique in our industry in that our cross-disciplinary teams—from public relations and social media to advertising and creative services—pride themselves on taking an integrated approach to each and every campaign,” said David Gorodetski, co-founder, COO and executive creative director at Sage. “Our clients trust us to assist them in achieving their goals, and these awards highlight what our clients already know to be true—that we at Sage are committed to exceeding our clients’ expectations by delivering real value that makes a difference to their business, organization, and mission.”

Earning the highest designation given for a Hermes award, Sage developed the design for the Halcyon 2017 Annual Report. The team ideated and created this high-profile brochure in a bold way–to match the non-profit’s unique mission. This piece not only showcased Halcyon’s accomplishments in 2017, but also highlighted its messaging in creative ways. Working closely with the Halcyon team, Sage developed a list of keywords, which were then revealed via a pull tab on the front cover and die cuts throughout the piece.

Sage was also recognized with a Gold Hermes award for the design of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Experience the National Wildlife Refuge System Brochure. This informative brochure showcased the mission, value and work of the National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS) and was distributed to incoming members of the 2019 Congress and other important NWRS internal and external stakeholders. Sage worked closely with the client to develop an easy to follow format through which readers could quickly find relevant information. Sage also conducted extensive image research of NWRS’ image library to obtain the stunning array included in the brochure, as well as assisted with content development.

In collaboration with Summa Strategies, a leading public affairs firm based in Ottawa, Canada, the two agencies spearheaded an international media relations campaign for the 2018 Halifax International Security Forum, earning a Bronze Stevie Award®. Sage and Summa worked together to develop an integrated international communications strategy with the goal of increasing brand awareness and diversifying media attendance. The combined efforts resulted in more than 2,000 media hits across the globe—topping media coverage results in the forum’s ten-year history.

Sage account managers Erin Bigley and Tommy Morgan were both recognized with Bronze Stevie Awards® for excellent client relations and communications prowess in their respective marketing and public relations categories.
