As an account director, Emily is a strategic communications advisor for Sage clients and is responsible for developing the public relations strategy and coordinating execution of that strategy, including media outreach and content development. She currently works on a number of federal technology and government accounts in addition to a few nonprofit and education clients.

Emily brings over 10+ years of varied public relations experience including federal technology, education, nonprofit, hospitality and travel. As a result of her outreach, Emily has garnered coverage for her clients in Forbes, the Washington Post, Travel Channel, USA Today and more.

Sage Experience

Emily has been with Sage for seven years. She has worked on a variety of clients and projects that include nonprofit, government and education organizations such as Rosslyn BID, Champlain College Online, March of Dimes and USDA FNS, USDA APHIS and USDA NASS; technology companies such as DMI, Sev1Tech, Boomi, Dell Technologies, Riverbed, Veeam Software and One Identity; and space and satellite companies such as Ramon Space, Globalstar, Envistacom, BlackSky and Spire.

In addition to actively supporting Sage clients, Emily leads internal efforts at Sage on behalf of the Culture Crew, planning quarterly companywide activities, monthly in-office days and additional efforts to support a inclusive, supportive and encouraging office culture.

Emily is a member of the LGW Rising Leaders Class of 2024, a program dedicated to developing the next generation of professional leaders across industries.

Prior to joining Sage, Emily was an account manager at Breakaway Public Relations, a boutique PR firm in Austin, Texas, specializing in nonprofit and hospitality. At Breakaway (formerly Newton O’Neill Communications), Emily managed all active clients at the firm and was responsible for the execution of PR strategy for local, statewide and national campaigns.

Academic Experience

Emily graduated cum laude from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Spanish and International Studies.
