After a successful 2022, Sage sets its eyes on the future

In January, Sage held its annual “State of the Agency” event to discuss internal initiatives, celebrate achievements in 2022 and to establish goals for the coming year. Last year was remarkable for many reasons, and it would not have been possible without the dedication and creativity of the entire Sage team.

Our public relations team successfully expanded training capabilities to deliver a broader range of services and guidance to our clients. Similarly, we strengthened our social media expertise, launched a cross-agency advisory group, and debuted an influencer relations and partner outreach program. 2022 witnessed the culmination of a long-term goal at Sage: the formalization of our integrated content-as-a-service practice.

We’re also excited to share that our marketing team met several goals we set for ourselves in 2022, including growing our government-focused team. Cultivating additional integrated accounts was a major goal for the entire agency. After some bumps in the road, this initiative took off in the past year, enabling Sage to deliver the full scope of our services to a variety of clients.

For the Brotman Winter Fried event marketing and management team, 2022 marked the return to in-person events, which allowed the group to show off its full range capabilities once again. Perhaps the greatest achievement of the year was BWF’s success at CES 2022 which received mainstream media interest from the likes of the Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNN and more. The team looks forward to continuing to promote and enable large scale in-person events in 2023!

While it’s important to highlight our triumphs, it’s equally valuable to identify where there is room for growth. The “State of the Agency” empowers our team by reminding us of our accomplishments and setting goals for the year ahead.

At Sage, we’re always looking for ways to improve. In 2023, we hope to increase educational and professional development opportunities for all our employees as well as further expand collaboration between our marketing and PR teams. Additional goals include furthering our already established social media brand, strengthening partner engagements, and expanding our content and communications training work.

Externally, we plan to strengthen our recent partnership with Deep Water Point and National Strategies and form new alliances throughout the communications industry. We aim to diversify our client base further, retain and attract top talent, bolster our internal committees, and continue to set a high bar for success.
