In 2018, Sage was awarded a four-year contract to design and produce OPIC’s annual report. OPIC sought to produce a report that was unique and easy-to-read. As a government agency, OPIC is required to provide a review on its initiatives and look forward to the year ahead, to communicate its achievements and pertinent information to Congress and key stakeholders.

However, OPIC had exhausted the average, run-of-the-mill, bound annual report for the last time, and the organization wanted to reimagine the annual report design to be simple, engaging and easily digestible. In 2018, it looked to Sage to help develop a unique design, requesting a “pocket folder” annual report with accompanying fact sheets and a fun pop-up box. DFC provided condensed copy, beautiful imagery and usable data that was primed for infographics, which helped us deliver an annual report that was one of a kind. The entire project was built from a solid and inventive idea that ultimately exceeded client expectations — and led to continued annual report support in later years through OPIC’s rebrand to the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

Services included: concept development, design, mechanical production, Section 508 remediation, content review / editing, proofreading, project management, print specifications development, and print management services.
